Incredibly easy to set up, this Vise can be
mounted nearly anywhere in seconds: on a
workbench, picnic table, truck tailgate,
plywood sheet, steel beam, or any other
surface up to 2-3/4” thick. Powerful, precisely
machined jaws hold your work firmly and
securely with minimal clamping pressure,
which is easily applied using the ergonomic
handle. After tightening, the handle can be
instantly released into an "at-rest” hanging
position to avoid interfering with your work.

The unique z-Vise2 jaws have two clamping surfaces: one near the table edge and one approximately
five-and-one-quarter inches off (above or below) the table.
Vise BODY : Basic Vise body including handle, fixed jaw, guide bars.
Manufactured to precise specifications out of high carbon cold rolled steel, zinc
plated for a lifetime of rust and corrosion free operation.
Standard Components
QUICK RELEASE JAW : Instead of cranking your vise endlessly every time you
have a different workpiece size, this feature lets you slide the movable jaw
instantly along the entire length of the vise.
I-Beam Bench CLAMPS : The heart of the ingenious Vise design, these clamps
hold your vise to practically any surface. Workbench, truck tailgate, a sheet of
plywood, picnic table, deck railing. Also can be used separately as regular
c-clamps to immobilize round and irregular shapes.
Vise END STOP : The unique Vise end stop may be mounted anywhere to provide
a third clamping surface, creating a virtually unlimited clamping capacity.
Vise CUP CENTERS : These cleverly designed holders slip easily into position on
the jaws of your Vise and are used for holding pieces that need to be rotated while
being worked on.
Vise DRILL HOLDER : This handy accessory slips into place on the guidebars of
your z-Vise and can hold most portable drills with a 43 mm or 1-5/8" collet
Vise TURNTABLE : This ingenious work platform is used to position your Z-Vise
at any angle needed for convenient access to your work....
TUBE CLAMPING JAWS : These novel accessories give your z-Vise the
ability to hold round stock at any angle. Instantly slipped into place over the
standard vise jaws,...
METAL JAW COVERS : The metal covers are set over the large clamping faces
of the jaws to protect from the damage otherwise caused by metal or other hard
objects being held.
LOWER SOFT JAWS : These perform the same function as the upper soft jaws
supplied with the basic vise, except that they cover the bottom part of the clamp
instead of the top....
Vise Transport Case : Super-convenient, durable,
one-piece carrying case has a spot for every
component of your vise including the accessory kit.
Using the same portable clamping system as the Vise, this handy tool lets you create
beautiful and valuable turnings almost anywhere, powered by your drill. Your TORNO
includes a sturdy mainframe, toolrest, turning center, and live center. Fits stock up to
22" long and 7-1/2" in diameter.
Swiss Manufactured with a Lifetime Warranty this is a wonderful addition.
Here's Another Great Product From MYHOMEWORKSHOP.COM
Really good, not a gimmick, Swiss quality, ergonomic engineering June 18, 2009 The first Z-vise I bought in '79 cost less than one hundred bucks, and I thought that was pricey at the time. After I got it, I realized what a great tool it is. Worth every penny.

The Zyliss Vise is as others have mentioned a truly fine vise. Mine first one was purchased at a home and garden show in Denver at least thirty years ago. I bought a second about three years ago. I wouldn't trade either of them. Jim P. Virginia
