The Alpha JackClamp is a new
generation bar clamp - the only
one like it in the world. While
other clamps rely on a one bar
system, the Alpha JackClamp
has two parallel bars and a four
jaw breaking system. Both
parallel bars are easily
adjustable, reversible and
removable for quick assembly
around a project.
You can clamp (both straight
and L-stock), spread and jack
(both straight and offset) as
well as hoist. Switching
between any of the four
positions is straightforward
and quick because of the
unique braking system in the
bar clamp handle.
The JackClamp has a vertical
and horizontal level on one
end as well as Standard and
Metric rulers stamped into the
lower bar. The precision
construction of the JackClamp
also allows the lower bar to
be used as a square
Clamping
The JackClamp parallel bar
woodworking clamp allows for
unique clamping of L stock up
to thirteen inches. Clamping
boards for furniture
construction by combining two
clamps for greater reach.
Cabinet Jack
Removing and reversing the
main bar allows this parallel
bar woodworking clamp to
work as a jack for installing
overhead cabinets.
Spreading
Spreading and
jacking are
similar
processes. You
can spread
rafters and wall
studs for
alignment or put
gentle pressure
on warped
furniture when
refinishing with
the parallel bar
woodworking
clamp.
Unique Features
The JackClamp parallel bar woodworking clamp has both a vertical and
horizontal level incorporated into the main bar. The main bar can also be
used as a square & a 18" or 44mm ruler.
Dual Clamp Configurations
Attaching two or more bar
clamps together allow for
longer reach when dowelling
or biscuit joining boards or to
hold two boards at a given
distance.
